02' avalanche performance

02' avalanche performance
A friend of mine has an 02' avalanche, its not the 2500 so obviously it has the 5.3, he wants a little more performance out of it. He was thinking of a computer chip, K&N intake system and an exhaustt system. Anyone have any suggestions of what brands, and a good site to order it from. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

IMO, do a search on the following items:
Computer: HP3(hypertech), Predator(Diablo), LS1 Edit
Intake: UPD
Exhaust: Magnaflow, Borla, Corsa, Dynomax
All of the above have been giving good results for most people. Basically, any conversation you find dealing with a 4.8, 5.3, or 6.0 will apply in a general sense to what your looking for. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
