i got a 99 z71 stepside, 4.8 5spd yadda yadda (sig pic) for $12,500 from the dealership with only 53k miles...def a good choice.

i also vote for the 02!

I don't really like the 03 and up front end, but that's not what's important. You should get an 02.

02 Is the best deal but be carefull, for sure get a carfax and look it over very good. If every things ok you cant go wrong with the 02. looks better any ways.

Sorry for the late post but the 02 has 106k miles already .... and still is asking 14k ill rather wait a lil longer and get something that i wont be fixing every now and then i did btw see a 02 Silvy Maroon RCSB more specs on it tommorow.... 5.3 racer16 nah i did call them but they said they didnt know anything about it (ex. Milage,Motor) so yea kinda fish there.......

I bought mine in McAllen at that 3 primos or hermanos dealer on 23rd and my milage had been disconnected. I bought it in 01 with 25K miles. It actually had about 35-40k miles. I didnt figure it out till about 9 months later when I went to remove the cluster and seen that the wire had been cut and retaped together. Definetely check out the cluster before buying anything used. If the dealer wont let ya check it out, maybe they are hiding something!

Yeah i defenetly check all that i always get the Vin# and check it at Carfax the dealer that im going is J Motors and West Point which recently sold a 05 Silverado Xcab all of his trucks are very clean along with J Motors so those 2 are my only eye catchers.......

02 no throttle by wire are both ls or is the 02 a base 17 is to high for and 03 wiht 60 k imo 15 is more right..if im not mistaken the 02 is more areodynamic also........i wouldnt give over 15 for either truck less if they are base models

i only paid 20 for my 01 ls 4x4 4.8 with all options besides the z-71 package in the wummer of 02 and that was with 5k ......never wrecked
