'01 5.3L engine tick
I have ticking. Two people I trust agree that I have a few/all bad valve lifters (which makes more sense than the dealers "rod knock" explanation. Anyone else having this issue? What options exist for aftermarket lifters (Autozone doesn't stock 'em).

Both of my truck exhibit a light tick when they worm up. I am not warried but I do feel sorry about for the many who got a loud knocking engine. Just keep it down a little on this topic. There is member here who is still in denial and will argue to the end about this issue.
