Default **HELP QUICK PLEASE** No spark on my new motor

I got the motor/trans all in and ready to go. I tried to fire it up and it just spun. There's fuel coming, but no spark. I'm lost ... anyone got any ideas?

I'd love to do some searching, but I don't have the time to do that.

Everything looks good, all's plugged up, just no sparking of the plugs.

HELP!!!

Did you check all of your grounds? I forgot one and couldn't get the truck to crank. I forget how many there are, but there's one on the driver's side that I completely missed when we put the LS1 in.

there's at least 2 maybe 3 grounds on the back of the motor, the fat braded one, the one for the oil press sensor, and maybe a 3rd.

You plugged the coil packs back in right? I only say that because I was about to turn the key during my last motor swap and noticed the coil pack unplugged as I headed for the drivers seat. lol.

Can anyone verify the grounds? I know I got the strap that goes to the firewall. I'm not 100% sure about the one off the wiring harness. I *think* the guy helping me got that one. I will verify it when I get back to the truck though.

this one is for the hood light/oil press sender.

But I know that there's another one on the right side . . . then there's the fat braded ground strap

here's the ground strap that I was talking about, the top where my thumb is in the way

Nathan you dont have a kill switch on it do you???
I know that happened to me when I rebuilt the 4.8L..
forgot I had activated it, so no one would accidentally be able to turn the engine over..
forgot about activating it, and tried to start it, took me 4 hours to realize what I had done
I was crawling all over it trying to figure out what I had forgotten to reconnect
