Default yukon duragrip

Anyone ever used one of these. Got an appt to get rearend redone with 4.56s and the yukon duragrip next week. I was wanting a trutrac but they were pushing these. Think I will call monday and have them switch the order to a trutrac. The trutrac was about $40 cheaper, but the price isn't what I'm concerned about. I have found online a few people having trouble with the duragrip and also about them making a bunch of noise.

Well, going to get the duragrip. They didn't have any trutracs in stock, they would have had to order one. I need to get it done this week because I am off work so I hope I like the duragrip. Everywhere I have looked, the duragrip was slightly higher than the trutrac. Didnt check rons though. Thats who I would have bought my parts from if I was doing the work, great prices and service.

I have a yukon dura grip and i think its OK it does make noise around 80 mph. I had an Eaton on my old truck and liked it wayyyy better.

Picked the truck up yesterday. Did the break in. Honestly I thought it would have made a bigger difference on the low end. Also, it locks up fine forward and reverse on flat ground, I was on an off angle with the driver side higher and the passenger rear wheel shoved up in the wheel well, driver side tire was spinning but nothing from the passenger side. I am confused, hell the g80 would lock up in this position, yet this one did not. Tried at slow and a little faster speeds and it never did.
