Default yoke, driveshaft help (please)

just finishing up a 4l60e to 4l80e swap and need to know a few things

my drive shaft is 58.25" long center to center of the u joint cups

the yoke bottomed out in the trans i get 58.5" the pinion strap surface to center of the u joint cup on the yoke (measured while truck was on the ground)

the yoke when bottomed out sticks out of the trans a touch over 1" it has a 5.75" shaft

1.) i need to know the minimum amount the yoke need to be in the trans?

2.) how much travel does the yoke need for suspension travel with out bottoming out?

basically trying not to cut my drive shaft, the yoke im checking with cant be used its really f'ed up so i need to buy one so if i buy a shorter yoke will it work out?

3/4" of slip into the transmission at ride height is what you want. Im not sure what the rule of thumb is for how much needs to be engaged into the trans.

Edit: the 3/4" im talking would be available room to go in before bottoming out at ride height. So if you bottom it out then pull it out the 3/4" then measure from middle of slip yoke ujoint to rear yoke for your driveline length.

ok since i only need 3/4" of slip and its sticking out about an inch if i get a 1" shorter yoke with 4.75" shaft i should be good to go

Edit: in a pinch need to get this truck back online could not fine a yoke locally on Saturday so i cut 1" off this one going to check fitment see how it works
