Default Yes, another servo question

Hey folks, Newbie so please be kind. I have read alot the servo swap but now have more ? on it so please help me out. My setup is a 07 crewcab 2wd silverado with 4.8 and 4spd a/t . Has a full k&n cai and magnaflow plus duals, no headers. I will be getting either a Nelson tune or programmer too.Check other thread pls. I is a daily driver with 48k on it and lite weekend towing in the summer in central fl. My questions and concerns are...

1. Can or should I do the servo with the tune, saw some posts on too my line pressure.
2. Does the servo have another to do with this lousy torque management demon?
3. Is the stock "corvette" sevo go enough or should I spend 3/4 times the money for an aftermarket one, i.e. sonnax
4. I have also seen a 4th gear servo or some call it a 4th gear "hold", is this worth it or necessary?

These pln to be the only upgrades for it and I am just expecting/looking for a little more and better performance. Thanks and sorry to ask a question that has been asked before.

I will speak on my experience and let the others give you their opinions.

I put the vette servo in and then got tuned a few months later. Have TM adjusted by your tuner. For $20 I thought the vette servo was good enough. I can't speak about the 4th gear servo, maybe someone else will.

Good luck.

Can't say I've heard of a servo ruining a transmission.... Shift kit, yes. Servos no. The corvette is what I put in and I am very happy for the 20 dollar upgrade, I also know many who are happy with the billet pieces too. Came down to price for me
