Default Yank SC3000 installed. Results.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but, I almost can't tell any difference from stock. I read so many times people stating that it made a world of difference going from stock to a 3000 stall, I just don't see it. Maybe i'm missing somethig. Where will I see this major difference that everyone is talking about? At normal driving speeds, it's exactly the same. Will I only notice a difference if I floor it?

A stall will only really help you off the line. Some have a better shift extension also, but the majority of the difference will be in off the line punch.

well with a denali the take off will be about the same. your stock verter prolly didnt go till around 1500 to 1700 with mild throttrle. so the yank will feel around the same on take off under normal conditions. but whe you launch her at wot the tach should go to 2900 to 3100 and then accelerate you.

Thats weird. I noticed immediately when I picked up my truck with the Vig installed. I had to give it quite a bit more gas just to get it to move. I became accustomed to it pretty quickly, but Ive heard that the Vig's are quite a bit "looser" than the Yanks.

Just got my truck back with a Yank 3000 and a built tranny from Toy Shop Transmissions and I definitely feel a difference. When easing on the thottle from a stop, it takes a little more gas to get going. When I stomp it all I get is tire spin, something I never got before with my truck, even with the Procharger. When cruising, I get instant throttle response when I get on it. It really woke up my engine and really woke up my exhaust as well.
