Brian, I have a 2000 rpm stall GM converter (the one they put behind the 4.3L) and I can tell you that you'll wish you had more. It's an improvement over stock but should've gone with at least a 2400 preferably a 2800. Just my opinion though.

yet another vote for the higher stall and like they say if you dont want a 3k get like a 2800 or so but 2k honestly and with the yank like they say i have driven more than one or go with a PI they have great street manners

We are not going to let this go without a fight. A 2000 stall, my bet is you will not even feel it and be VERY disappointed. ****, my 3400 Yank fels stock. My next verter will be 4000 or larger. My project truck will have a 5000 or larger later this year.

a 2000 wont do chit for ya.... you have a blower, so just take advantage and get at least a 2800 or bigger.
