i know this is probably a stupid *** question, but do you still cruise at the same RPMs? I've been looking to get a stall soon since i'm pretty much to that step.

as long as the torque converter is in lock up it will. butwhen its out of lock up you will cruise at a little higher rpm. depending on how loose it is and how much the stall it has.

Let the fun begin. What gears are you running, 3.42s? Is this in the Tahoe?

there 3.73's and it flash at about 3200 but normal driving its hard to tell its there really. it was noisy in the silverado but so far not in the tahoe. i think i messed something up when i did the install in the silverado because it had a weird vib at lock up. oh well not complaining as long as it works in this one. lol. oh and it does kinda have a stomache turning pull when you flash it off the line. unlike the silverado where it just pulled ok.

My Yanks have always been tight, and I like 'em that way! Congrads on the new converter!

Yeah, I'd hope it wouldn't fall that low.
