Next time you shell out 1800 buks to have yours rebuilt, check out our sponsors. Performabuilt or FLT.. You can get a new one for that with a warr. See what the truck will stall to in 2nd gear vs drive.. I can vouch for yank, as I am running a SST3200, it has been flawless... Sounds to me your trans guy almost has ya in the bag..

After you get it broke in let me know where it flashes and where it brake stalls too... I been thinking about getting that one with a smaller cam in my truck to make it more friendly with being a lifted truck

you did just fine purchasing a yank tq converter. they are one of the best you can buy...
only one i will tell you to stay away from is PTC.. their converters are junk when it comes to our vehicles.

4.56s and tru-trac will be in within a couple of weeks. I noticed if you stick your head by the exhaust it smells like unburnt fuel. Hopefully by the time I change it within the next few days it won't damage the catalytic converter.
