Default Wow...ride control button

Called up the dealership and he had no idea what I was talking about. Said he didn't know "ride control" was an option on Chevy trucks. he's saying that the only button like that is on the left side of the dash next to the fog light button. Can anyone hook me up with a part number, as mine's internals have broken and won't allow it to stay on? Thanks.

ride control on what year? are you talking about a truck or a SUV?

the switch next to the fog lights on a truck is for the cargo lamp, on the SUV that's the control for the rear window wiper

I thought ride control was only available on the Escalades.

the newer silverados had some type of suspension option where it had 2 ride settings, if you goto chevy and build a truck you'll see the option.

Yeah, that's why I was hoping someone had the number, because the switch the guy described isn't even on the correct side of the dash! On my 01 silverado ls, I have a push button under the radio, next to the airbag key-switch that says ride control. When you push it, a little light comes on and the suspension stiffens up a good bit. It's even listed in my owners manual.

Default Ride Controll button 2006 1/2 ton truck

Ride controll shocks.

The Salesman at the local Chevy dealer tried to tell me that the 1/2 ton Crewcab was not available with the 6.0 Vortec Max. I had to find him one, so I could buy it.

I'm going to take it that your switch is bad? have you tried to pull the original to see if the part number is stamped on the back of it?
