Default Will this converter work?

Looking at a deal on a local guy who has a B&M Converter with 7k miles on it. Here's what the guy selling it said...."also have a B&M 2600 stall its a lockup has about 7k on it i went to th350 so i cant use it any more". It's coming out of a '97 Camaro SS. Will this work with my 4L60E in my truck? If so I think I'm gonna go for it, cause I wasn't planning anything bigger than a 2800 stall, since the truck is my daily driver and does pull an occasional car.

How much does he want for it? The trailblazer stall is about a 2500 stall give or take. you kno that... but from gmpartsdirect.com they come quite cheap with your core return... so it depends.

Oh.. and the truck is up and ready to go whenever you wanna go for a ride and see what you think about my stall and cam

He wants $100 for it and I'd still have my stock converter if I ever needed it for any reason. May not need the ride if I end up with the stall this weekend, but probably would go for it anyways, cause it'll be a bit before I can afford to have it installed and the truck tuned. I'm actually gonna be going to Commerce tomorrow night hopefully, if things work out.

$100 is great if everything is intact, go for it... only 7k miles on it... why is he taking it out?

He's taking it out cause he swapped to a TH350 and doesn't need this one anymore. I figure I'll give it a shot....probably run it till the tranny goes than go up to a 2800-3000 depending on what cam I end up going with.

ya.. i hear ya.. my tranny is on its way... the converter was staying in lockup today... i went to floor it and it tached out at like 2500 rpms... i had to manually drop it into 1st on the column to get it to unlock, lol... i sense a built 65e or 80e in my future.

Good luck tho. I'd get that stall.. its worth it.. sell the stock one and this one once u get a diff tranny.
