Ok, im looking at getting some wheels and slick for my truck, I wana run the hoosier quick time pro 29x11.50 15, thay advertise 10in tread width ,will these tires work on a 8in wide rim? i just hate the off set on a 10in wide rim. Has anyone run 10in wide slicks on a 8in rim? if so was there any bad tire wear? any pics would be great too. thanks.

 

my dad runs a 10 inch slick on a 15x8 prostar, (nova) 2 seasons and no abnormal tire wear, hope this helps

ps, the tire will bulge out a little more because its wider if you are lowered it might pose a problem

 

Thanks for the input, the truck just has shackels so that shouldnt be problem.

 

Anyone else? what do you guys think of this setup? anyone else ran the hoosier pro steets on these trucks? Im gunna be trying the lonch my ls1 with 4.56 gears and a 4k stall on the streets so im looking for the best street legle setup i can find.
