Talking Will a 1994 4L60E bolt up to 2005 5.3 with no modifications???

Can someone tell me if it will be a direct bolt in/on or would I have to use the conversion spacer?
The truck is a 1994 Silverado 4X4 w/ 5.7 350...
What about wiring? Is plug the same or different?

Thanks in advance...

I think the 4x4 will cause a problem. And it being a older model it may not be easy.

I just swapped a 6.0 an 4l80 in my 93 z, an I kept the 4wd in the floor but there are alot of mods tht have to be done. An if I remember correctly the pre 95 transmissions won't work with the newer motors, something bout the tranny not having enough pins for the harness.

Are the 4l60e converters interchangeable? I have an 06 4l60 and want to run a 6 bolt diesel converter from a 97 half ton 6.5TD
