Default Widest 31/32 inch tire with level kit.

I just bought a 99' chevy 5.3l 1500. I am wanting to put the widest 31 inch tire I can find on the widest rim possible. I figure mickey thompson 15" 12 wide with 3 5/8" backspacing. I cannot find any wider than that, I want them to hang out as far as possible. For the tires I am looking at a set of 325/65/15 BFG M/Ts.

Now for the suspension. It rides fair, I do not want to jack the ride up with keys. So I figure install new shocks and keys, a good brand. Unless there is any other way to level this truck. I want it to ride good and allow enough clearance for the tires.

I think that you'll have to grind the calipers down to run 15" wheels on an NBS truck. Why do you want the tires to stick out?

yea 16 is the smallest that you can fit. if you do a level kit you should be able to do 33's if you want to keep it a fair ride then leave it alone, jackin it will take away from the smooth ride, jackin the keys a little bit will make it a little stiffer.

I used to have 33's on my truck without touching the keys, they were 285/75-16's (32.9") on the factory wheels with no rubbing issues.

I dont want to raise it up much at all, I just want it wide for the beach and traction up mountains. Currently I reside in the mountains, but seek shelter in the summers on the coast. I figure maybe some 16X12 MT rims with the widest small tire I can fit. Any suggestions? What did yall do to improve your ride?
