Why do ECSB 2WDs have 2-piece driveshaft and 2WD CCs don't?

I've seen quite a few of the 2WD 1500 crew cabs w/ a one-piece aluminum driveshaft, much like the Z-71s. Why is this? Isn't the wheelbase the same as an ECSB? Will a 2-piece w/ a carrier bearing hold up to 400 rwhp?

I found it from someone here that directed me to it in the past.
They seem to have some cool performance 2-piece driveshafts for our trucks.
Does anyone know what web-site this could have been?
I believe their driveshafts were yellow and black in color.

i changed from a one piece to a 2 piece. I have not dyno'd but I am sure i am in the 400's. The down fall to a 2 piece with power is that's just that many more joints to fail. But no vibration and the likely hood of a drive shaft coming a part at 120mph is slim to none.

It's when the shaft is over 5 1/2 foot that you see the increased harmonics. I do have pics, but they're at home...if I remember I'll post them up!
