Where to get trans parts
#21
No offense, but I have bad luck with both of those setups. The 1st has steels that are only .059 thick. Which will not dissipate the heat well. And the z-pack Ive just never had luck with.

You can get the parts here in wichita from A@reds (autry enterprises). I have a brand new transgo vac mod kit i'll sell ya. I used a z pac in mine. Some people like the alto better though. The really high horspower guys use the high energy clutches with .080 kolene steels and a .120 pressure plate. A@reds have all the hot rod goodies for good prices.

alright so with a vacuum modulator it does away with the computer controlling the transmission. what all needs done in the computer? does it have to be shifted manually, which is no problem since i have a b&m shifter and do that already. sorry for the dumb questions ive just never read up on a vacuum modulator
