I asked vince 3 weeks ago and he referred me to Pro Built cause flt no longer sells parts.

Nothing like throwing a flat head in a corvette...

PCM controled line pressure tuning works, you just need to learn how to tune it.

to pcm or vac mod is one of those long debated subjects...both sides w/ plenty of proof...
In all of my reading, I don't think anyone has ever said that the pcm controlled line pressure didn't work...they just said that the vac mod was more reliable and you didn't have to screw around w/ those parameters in the tune...which can, if done improperly, can blow a tranny quick...not unlike many other parameters, however I think the others are more forgiving and/or you can monitor things such as a/f and prevent a tuning mistake from damaging the engine...where excessive line pressure when un-needed could be unknown until it was too late...
maybe I'm wrong...

I use a boost valve and pretty high pressure up top on my tunes. I have a buddy who uses the vaccum modulator and HP Tuners, but will not try to tune? This guy runs in the low 11's with a 4L60E built by my trans tech and is still doing just fine. He did not want to upgrade to the 5 gear plantery sets?

Sorry to hear about your trans problems Tyler, mine killed the 3-4 clutches too. What set up have you been using?

You can get the parts here in wichita from A@reds (autry enterprises). I have a brand new transgo vac mod kit i'll sell ya. I used a z pac in mine. Some people like the alto better though. The really high horspower guys use the high energy clutches with .080 kolene steels and a .120 pressure plate. A@reds have all the hot rod goodies for good prices.
