Where to cut V6 spring to get 3" drop
#1
here is a picture of my v6 springs. can anyone show me where to start cutting to achieve approximately 3" drop?
ive heard that the v6 springs do not require as much of a cut to achieve the drop that the v8 springs require. im looking to test them out for transfering a little more weight. i think these DJM 3" drop springs are a little too stiff to transfer.

well i just made my first cut. i cut off exactly 1 coil. hopefully i wont have to pull it all apart and cut more. how much will this thing settle after installing it. i dont want to cut it to be perfect and have it settle lower than i want.
if i like this setup i will have some DJM 3" drop springs for sale here soon.

I'm fixing to put on my v6 coils here in a few days. Let me know how much your setup drops you. I'll be on spindles and the stock v6 springs so hopefully I also end up around a 3" drop.
