Default Wheelhop/axlewrap idea

well i saw some pics of the underside of a Ram SRT-10 today and this little beauty caught my eye, it's an ingenious idea, i wonder how it would work on one of our trucks instead of caltracs???

I don't think that would prevent it, just dampen it a little bit.

I don't think they are very effective at preventing wrap/hop. Came on a bunch of explorers and 5spd s10s stock.

My old S10 (4.3L with 5-spd) had that type of thing on the axle, and it still axle hopped like no other. I don't think it worked worth a damn.
