Wheel hop

Default Wheel hop

got a 00' RCSB. installed a DJM 4-6 kit 2 years ago. just installed my LQ-9 6 mos ago and when the tires break loose it has horrible wheel hop. the only thing i can think of my pinion angle is definitley off. thanks for any help.

Pinion could be off, with that much of a drop, but a set of spring clamps( cheap way) or cal-trac bars will stop the problem..

Take a look at your pass side rear shock. When I had that kit on mine it was breaking that lower mount. Did it a bunch of times, that's when the wheel hop would show up!

yeah it came with the shock relocator bracket and it busted the shock mounts off the axle. i welded the stock mounts back to the axle tube and then the bracket to the mounts. its pretty ugly but it is secure.
