Well no matter what gears or tires your running, that 3K stall is going to kill any chance of getting decent MPG. Especially around town.

On my truck i have stock 3.42's stock 235/75 tires 29.6" tall and at 70 im right at or just under 2K RPMS and around town i get 15-16 and have gotten as high s 19-20 on a long freeway trip. Only mods i have done are 05+ Factory efans w/nelson harness and replaced the factory mufler with a Dynomax Ultraflow.
