I've done this upgrade and I loved it. A we all know, GM's rotors are ****!!! Constant warpage and nothing but brake rust. So, I installed the Powerslot Rotors, slotted and cross-drilled. I don't particulary like the Hawk pads though. I think they're overpriced junk. I had the best luck with the CarQuest/Reybestos BCD Ceramic Pads. If I knew your trucks model year and what it was I could give you the part # for them.

The BCD pads are a great ceramic material that don't cause brake dust, no squeekage and they don't warp your rotors upon hard braking.

Give them a try, I bet you'll have a better experiance.

buy 2 sets, install the first set on my truck so you can see if you will run into any problems installing the second set on your truck.

i bought a set of r1 cross driller/slotted rotors for both my 03 silverado and 06 TBSS ........LOVE THEM
Easy upgrade, very straight forward. Basically just need to take your wheels off then the 2 bolts on back of caliper then install new gear and reverse process. Peice of cake
