Default what would cause...

the truck not to able to be pushed in reverse with it selected to neutral. not running.

parking brake, broken rear end, gear shift cable not putting it in Neutral.

or some of the ones thunder listed.

it goes in reverse fine otherwise, well actually it doesnt have the idle momentum it should. im hoping its not a broken rear end.

You just had the trans rebuilt right? Did they **** up the rear end at the same time?? Are you sure the gear selector is in the correct position?

when i have the motor running, it goes into reverse fine. it was doing this intermittently before they messed with the tranny

not yet, they were closed by the tim i got home, and i didnt even think about checkin it at the place.

talk to the tranny shop. they said with all the new stuff in it, its still holding pressure with all the new stuff in it. he said give it time for the parts to seal. made some sense to me. but we'll see.

does anyone else think this could be it?...
