Anything from a 2500-3000 depending on your preference, I personally would choose the 3000.

more specs on the truck.
ex: engine, cab size, 2 or 4 wheel drive, etc...

Why would you choose a 3000 over a 2500? Less hesitation on takeoff?

99 1500 ext cab 5.3l

Cold air intake and duel custom exause coming soon

for that truck, 2800 to 3k
for a rcsb you could get away with 2500

if you went with a 2500 with that truck you would not be takin full advantage of the potential that cam gives you. plus, you'd DEFINITLY have to replace your stall if you wanted to go bigger. just go 3000
