Default What shocks?

Well the stockers are gone and have been for a while. Currently I have a 0/2 drop on the truck but want to go with a 2/4 using a McG's drop kit. I have heard several people that the stock size shocks won't work. I have also heard of some of the big name drop shocks arn't all that good. What are my options? Also if you have had good luck with some drop shocks please chime in.

stock length shocks will work with a 2" drop on the front, just not ideal. i just put some rancho 9000x 9 way adjustables on mine, and like them a lot so far
