Default What rims for 28" tall slicks?

I'm looking for some cheap rims for some 28" slicks. Will the stock aluminum 16x7 work? Or are they to narrow? I think the 28" slicks are 10.5-11.5" wide.

you could use the stock wheels but they are narrow and bulge some but would work

I agree with Quick. That sounds like too much width for the stock rims. If you post the tire specs we can tell you what the exact rim widths compatible with it are. (Brand and size would be helpful.)

you can run them on the stock alloy wheels.
i think that would be the best route to go since you can find them cheap and they are very light.
i run an 11.5 wide et street on stock alloys w/ no problems

I had that setup blue cajun and had to go down to like 13psi till they would get a good contact area. They make a 10.5 I do believe.

Im currently runnin ghte et street radial on a 16" stock wheel and that combo hooks pretty good.

Your best combo is probably going to be 16x10. Then you could get a 28x12.50 and that would hook even better.

i found 4 centerline VOLTAGE 16x8 new rims for 200shipped, they are a little lighter than the factory alloys too.

Yes, for M14 metric studs. Wheels for 7/16" SAE studs may work too drilling them out a bit.

Alright a buddy of mine on here is gonna hook me up with some 16x8 or maybe 16x9 rims that will fit on our trucks. Which width should I go with? 28" x 11.5" or 28" x 12.5"? I''m guessing the 11.5". What do ya'll think? I'm not running a power adder, just N/A
