Like the title says, What is the pinion offset of a 10 bolt. 3/4" or 1"? I can not find a answer anywhere.

Glad you found your answer. I saw this thread, but I didn't know what you were talking about.

When I cut my rear end I just assumed it was center pinion. After cutting it I saw that it was offset to the passenger side. I had to know exactly how much so that I could order my axles. Not sure about the 99+ 8.5/8.6 but the 88-98 8.5 definitely has an offset of 1/2 which mean that the pinion is 1" closer to the passenger side.

I cut a total of 9 1/2 inches off. It is 55 1/4 from housing flange to housing flange
