Question At what MPH do you lock ur converter???

I'm getting a retune pretty soon, mostly for drivability. I was wondering when you guys lock ur converter at part throttle. Mine is at 65 right now, I know I need to go lower, seeing as thats the speed limit.
Thanks

Most of my driving is freeway and 50mph zones so I have mine lock-up at 50. (Stock size tires,4L60E,3.73 ring) It has less shifting and runs quieter for cruising.

42 with a tci 3K and ~42 with the Fuddle 2600 I ahd now with teh Fuddle 3200 Im going to lock it at 38 cause the 418 is going to make so much more torque down low. On a stock engine or bolt on I would lock it at 42 in 4th got ALOT better mileage around town and to my knowledge isnt messing anything up and Allen told me it was fine. I did end up killing th clutch in the YCI but that was from the nitrous and 4wd launches I think.

Most torque converters have a lockup clutch which locks the input and the output of the converter so there is no slipage. Better fuel economy and less heat. When I rebuild the trans and put in Vigilante TC, I REALLY noticed the lock/unlock and could not stand it driving around town. Would lock at 40 with an accompanying surge in speed. I had it programmed for 50 and it is MUCH better.

I would like to have the TOW/Haul Button programmed to lock the converter... so I can lock it on dyno pulls, or the top end of the track.
