Post What Is The Most Drop Without A C-notch

I Was Wondering What Would Be The Most Drop I Could Get In The Rear With Out Doing A C-notch On A Rcsb Silverado. I Like The Looks Of A 4/6 Kit But I Dont Really Want To Chop The Frame Up Right Now. I Was Wondering If A 3/5 Or 4/5 Kit Would Work.

2wd 4" rear drop, the axle is within an inch of the frame.

people say you can run 5" in the back but I don't see how. I'm running hotchkis leafs so the rear end is even stiffer than factory and i still bottom out ALL the time with just a 4" drop .

I have drop coils up front and shackles/hangers/removed o-load in the rear... I wouldnt recommend removing the overload if you haul or tow though... and I would STRONGLY recommend running some type of traction bar with it.
