What Do I Use On The Threads Where The Transmission Lines Go Into The Case....

you can use some teflon tape that plumbers use or sylicone wrap

I would stear clear of Teflon tape, as bits of that can break off and enter the transmission itself. Teflon is evil unless its on cookware lol.

I used some High-Temp Permatex thread sealant. Just a loot bit of goop on the threads and it sealed up nicely.

Thanks for the info now i have to get the tailshaft bushing or bearing replaced. When i lost the driveshaft it put a couple dings in it.

You could try liquid teflon also...or if you don't mind a Toyota product, they have an orange FIPG (form in place gasket) that is intended for transmission use. Hate to admit it, but I've used Toyota FIPG for alot of different applications and always had great results. I use the black FIPG for engine applications (like where 2 gaskets meet that you'd usually use RTV), or as an extra layer of protection on coolant housing gaskets, and the orange stuff on the threads of trans lines, as a trans or diff gasket, etc. They seem to be very forgiving and effective sealants.

I use tfe plumber paste. I would have to agree that you should stay away from teflon tape.
