what kind of slicks/drag radials should i get?

ok so i sold a set of GMC 16s a few weeks ago, and the guy is giving me 2 back for slicks. they are 16X8 i believe

what is the best tire i can get for a decent price (like 200 a tire) and has good traction at the track

they are most likely 16x7. Based on your mods I'd run some 255/50/16 drag radials or if you plan on more mods, I'd run the 28x11.5x16 drag radials.

I like my M&H drag radials. 275/55/16 are 28" and they make a 255 that's 26"

Since they are track only I wouldn't waste time with drag radials or et streets. 28" tall Hoosier full slick gets my vote for 16x8.
