I HAVE A 2005 rcsb silverado with a 4.3v6

im hoping there 3.73s... im putting in a Auburn pro lsd... and i need to know if my gears are 3.73s or not... if they are i wont change them... if they are i want to upgrade to 3.73s. also were do you reccomend to get gm 3.73s i no about randys ring and pinion but i was wondering if any one else noes of somewhere else in the dallas area.

i tried 4wheelparts but they dont carry AAM apparently....

bump.....

 

open up the glove box and if it says gt4 somewhere then you have 3.73s if it says gu6 then you have 3.42s

 

mine says GU5???

 

you have 3.23s if it is GU5

 

3.23...turn the "GU" around and it spells "UG!"...bummer

it appears not, unless you have the g80 glovebox RPO code, you do not
