Default What does This mean!?!?!?

In my glove box on the sticker with all of the codes. I have GU5 and G80. My truck is an 2005 Chevy RSCB with the 5.3L and LS package. And are these a good thing or a bad thing.

Thanks to Who responds.

Posted at the same time joshua...and i think i posted the wrong thing for the Gu5...but the G80 is the factory limited slip.

GU6=3.42 rear gear
So maybe the GU5 is the 3.23 rear gear...i'm sure someone that knows will chime in soon.

Yes GU5 is 3.23 and G80 is better than an open diff although still known to explode at any given time.

depends on what you plan on doing to your truck. I'm going 4.10's soon, I have the stock 3.73's right now.

If you plan on mod'n the truck, save money to change G80 out too. Good investment since you'll already be going in to change the gears.

highway driving, you would probably want 3.73s for better mileage. but if you want to be alot quicker, go with the 4.10s.
