well my transmission wont shift from 2nd to 3rd at WOT and it will shift once in a while shifting i know my tranny aint messed up cause it drives normal on cruise what could it be??? also have a stall and tranny aint stock.........

 

tune ( maybe ) so youre saying it will shift just fine when cruising, but when going WOT it will shift from first to second and thats it?

 

Mine would do the same thing until finally it totally gave up. I had the work done by someone else, but I broke a piston of some sort(I believe an apply piston for the 3-4 clutch pack) and in the process burnt up my 3-4 clutch pack and quite a few of my other clutches.

Like I said, mine was the same way, It would shift fine at anything under 6000 rpm but it would slip a bit and eventually 4 montsh later it gave altogether.

 

yea it will when just crusing then i floor it on d and it will go 1st to second then it wont shift to 3rd at all on d put when i shift it it will most of the time shifting

It may just be a tuning issue, Have you made any mods recently power adders? Tires?

 

Im calling clutches burning or apply piston like RandomHero says. Get it rebuilt ASAP. my old 60 had issues shifting in to 2nd at WOT but never skipped a beat cruising. Never got it rebuilt personally so I donno what ended up being the issue.
