Default new trans and setup in and running....

Took her down the road and back and I can already tell I need to set all the pressures back stock LOL. Haven't wired in the Transbrake yet but its coming soon. should make a difference in the 60' dept...

I also had my converter rebuilt and it feels so far like Chris hit the nail on the head a little more square this time last time around I think we just underestimated the power a little. Feels 100% better and more efficient this time in.

I had a little problem still with temp and replaced my smallish trans cooler (28K?) with a stock cooler off a 6L powerstroke. Rated at about 65K GVW I believe, its literally bigger than my a/c condenser... Goes from the hood latch down behind the bumper and just as wide. My temps were consistantly going from 170ish to 220+ after a pass before... This should help haha. Ill post pics as soon as I upload them. It went in a lot easier than I expected.

I'm also having a little reverse issue that I believe may be transbrake related. Drop it into R and it takes about 5 second for it to engage, and sometimes the truck will die fluid level is fine and the gear is definitely in the right place with the selector. That's why I'm thinking its got something to do with that 'brake... Any ideas?

btw i got the tranny and converter in my truck and so far its been running awsome thing lays rubber like a pro what a differance i dont know how i ever went without a stall before

Haha, I called you!!!! WTF!!!!

Yeah, this trans feels way more solid in every dept. I'm redoing my trans cooler hoses again right now so the the new cooler fits better but after that I should be in good shape
