Default What can I do to get my trans driveable again.

Well I threw up a few posts in this section and some in performance about all my problems. Now I just want to get this thing to work so I at least can drive it to work.

My trans seems like its slipping like crazy. It revs really high betwwen shifts and doesn't really want to shift up, I have to back off throttle the roll into it again to get it to up shift. Changing gears manually does nothing to help.

There is no mechanical grinding or frightening sounds coming from the trans. I'm just waiting for it to go all the way out and not move.

Is there anything that can cause a trans slipping besides abuse??? I have been driving this thing like a puss for weeks now REALLY!!

A vacum leak? Failed sensor?

I checked all the stuff in Predator diagnostics as far as trouble codes and saw this "TCC Curcuit, Performance or Stuck Off" Anyone know what that is telling me??

I did not get any answers on that question the last couple of days and I'll keep posting till I get some feedback on this. Someone here must know something.

Man I am desperate and need this thing to go to work this week.

The code is P0741. "TCC Curcuit Performance or Stuck off".
Its not in the SES section of diagnostics either, its somewhere else, I'll post its location.

The trans has about 45,000 miles on it and all my fluids were flushed and changed at 37,000 miles by a dealership for free. They did the trans, transfer case and rear diff. I checked all levels after they did the service and all were good.

It also slips in every gear, even when I manually select a gear. Almost feels like the converter is not locking up. Could this be possible?

Never had a slipping trans on this truck or any of the last 3 chevys I've owned. Although this one has more miles on it than the others I've owned.

The only time the convertor is locked is in OD.

Pull the pan off and make sure the filter is seated correctly. Or did you already do this?
