Default were to cut scsb front coils for 3"

i have a 2000 scsb lookin for a 3 inch drop in the front. can someone post a picture of were to cut it. and dose it matter what end i cut. ive read up on this alot just looking for a clear answer from people that have done it.and are there any draw backs to cutting the front coils (alignment, bump steer, ball joints falling apart, ect.)

i think the rule of thumb is 1 coil = 1.5 inch drop... sooo go 2 coils down from where the top of the coil ends and cut there.... i would prob cut about 1 1/2 coil off first and go form there if ur scared of too much drop

trouble with alignment are you talking about not being able to fix the camber?

Nothing wrong with cutting a coil... it still rides good up front.. stock shocks and all
