Default Well Its Time.....4L60-E

Well, the 60-E has given me allot of fun over the last 35000 miles and 60+ trips down the 1320....but its time to overhaul the 60-E! I have chosen to go with Hughes Performance after the experience I had with them in the past on the old RCSB. Their service and reputation is stellar and the products are hands down some of the best I have ever used. I will also be using them on the Turbo 350 for the Project GMC. I will keep you all posted this week!

BTW the Crew STILL runs, I just know its time..

I have a magazine w/ your old RC in it. They tested your truck and blew the tranny and had Hughes hook you up w/ a 4L80E.

So how do you "know" its time a little slip at the top of the gears or at the shift?

I was thinkin it might be cool to do a step by step with pics on the R&R of the trans....then the guys that have not done it have something to refer too....

Hughes is a top notch tranny company, the guys there help me out with a lot of advise for my 69 Camaro.

Im going to do one soon on the 80e swap when I do my 80e install. I think tech articles would give alot of guys more confidence to do these thigns theirself. I may do one when I do the heads and cam swap on closet redneck's truck too.
