First, before we get started...WTF is this oil leak. I got my head up in there and I can't see any leak from the heads. Antifreeze looks fine. Oil is just very used looking.

Sigh.
I don't mind some dirty sheet, but jeeesh. Quit already. Wait till you see the trans in the next pics. Oil is all over it.

No investigation yet, just a bunch of parts on the table. Forward clutches are melted together. Needle barrings appear intact in converter. Front part of housing bearing bottom is worn. That seems weird, would expect wear all over or spotty all over I guess. OD gears look stellar. LOL Keep in mind the black sludge you are about to see was COMPLETELY flushed out no more than 300 miles earlier. Three 1/4 mile runs on the new flush. Drive to track and back home and then to trans shop.

Suncoast...massive looking fugger...there is some discoloration on the snout, but looks normal to me cuz it didn't color all the way out. Seems like that's from the weld.

WOW...never EVEN thought of that.
I have it running over to a collector on the passenger side, but there is no reason to believe it is together. Could of came apart I guess. WOW. That would be AWESOME if that was the problem. sorta...
I'll check that tomorrow! Thanks.

Trans guy wasn't there, that was just me taking pics. He was out on a test drive. I only asked what some stuff was with his son. I asked him about the front bearing and he made this face...he said his dad saw that and ran straight to my truck and made sure the rear of the motor looked happy (as well as the front). He was the one that discovered my 65e's were losing pumps all the time due to a thrust bearing being out.

I do what I can.
