Default Well, the 295's WILL fit !

Everybody I have asked said they would NOT fit at all. My buddy that works at discount said he couldn't get any NItto Grappler A/T in the 295/70/17 size for a while. Well low and behold, he got ONE set in today and called me. I hauled *** down there and we test fitted them. They worked !! so I bought them. No rubbing whatsoever and we didn't touch the torsion bars or even trim anything ! I've put about 70 miles on them so far with ZERO problems, and I LOVE these tires.

Thanks, and I was hoping they were a decent tire.

I think I might have to look in to the 295's. Have you backed up while turning sharp back and forth yet? Good looking truck. You just need to yank the Z71 stickers off. It makes the truck look so much better IMO with them gone.

I was pulling in and out of store driveways pretty quickly to see if they rubbed while leaning (and yes people were looking at me funny, I told them I was a tire test driver for a secret quality control company lol) and the tires didn't hit or rub. I'll be taking some curbs and whatnot today and see if I can get them to rub.

I turned the wheel, full lock, while reversing and nothing happened. Full lock in drive, same thing. I'll play with it more today and see what I can find out for you guys.

I'll also get some better pics, theswe tires made a HUGE difference in looks and driving, I love them !

Right on. Thanks for the updates. I guess if they do rub a bit on a bump or curb. I suppose a few cranks on the TB's wont hurt. I think I will be on the prowl for some 295's.

Our trucks look sweet with the bigger tires IMO.

Wow, did you have any rubbing issues or crank the Torsion bars at all? I'm really wanting to get some aftermarket wheels but worried about the fit.

My 295's ares till doing great and have sone a little off-roading and they never rubbed or given me any problems at all.

Quick Reply: Well, the 295's WILL fit !
