Default weight transfer

Guys i wanna know what your thoughts are on my setup. I cant seem to get the front end to rise any. I think its killing my 60 foot.

Right now the front is lowered by 2" drop coils and 2" spindels. Swaybar removed. Also using stock shocks currently.

Rear has dbrods fuel cell under bed, caltracs, flip kit and relocated shocks with rancho adjustables set on 9.

It hooks ok right now but i think it has improvement with a better front setup. Im thinkin about lower a-arms for a 2" drop with stock coil springs. I think the drop coils are killing me. Do u think this would help? I know coilovers would be perfect but funds kinda tight right now.

Thanks.

brandon i used to have that same setup, well almost i ran the drop spindles, i was thinking the same way as you, so i went cut springs with some cheap *** shocks up front. honestly if youre hooking up on the track dont worry about the front lifting thats the last thing you wanna do, its all about getting the power to the ground, matching converter with peak torque this maximizes all efforts of the output of the engine. i truck hardly squats and barely lifts what i look for is tire separation in the rear tire plants separates from the body.

what all this means when you have everything specked out and matches peak torque and you feel its not or you want better 60 fts then start looking at adding the power

Well i can almost stick it on motor at the track but with the extra hit its a no no. Plannin on adding a progressive. But i really do think my front end needs a lil extra work. Couldnt hurt to swap the lowered coils for stockers just to see if it helps.

i still have my cut springs and shocks if you interested in them, give them a try if ya dont like send back.

gotta lighten up the front, these trucks are nose heavy from hell unless youre willing to change the front bumper to remove weight its gonna be tough to equalize the weight ratio, i'm like 58/52 which id luv to be around 55/45 but she hooks up pretty good

progressive will help out alot, i dont run one cause i want full power at launch the roll second kit in
