Default weight reduction(nbs)

whats going on guys figured id see what some of you guys are doing for weight savings on your trucks? on 35s im down to 4600lbs without me in it/4825 with me. ive cut a few hundread pounds out already but am definitley searching for more. from what ive reasearched ive found that ive done just about everything from the lists and all i can think of other than going extreme and cutting out the bed floor etc. i still intend on occasionally using it as a truck but im definitley trying to lose the weight i just added from the traction bars and it being lighter definitley wouldnt hurt any

thanks in advance

T.J.

so far weight reduction wise ive got no spare tire or assembly, ebrake assembly deleted, gas tank skid plate, heat shields going down the bed, excess exhaust hangers cut off, hitch is off, i cut 20lbs in weight switching to my 10" converter, exhaust is short so its substantially lighter than stock, weight reduction from stock exhaust cats etc to headers and ory, a/c and all components are out, middle seat, sound deadning, carpet, foam, airbags, fiberglass mat underhood, heat shields, no evap no egr etc, no sway bar or bracketry, and thats all i can think of at the moment lol im sure im missing some

Without starting to do some serious chopping you are about covered. You can probably find some weight in unpinning some wiring from the harnesses for removed items. I think at this point you are going to have to start dropping money to get the weight down.

How much do you want to really cut ? Wheels and tires can be lighter/your hood/ front bumper/back bumper/ your lift kit. Im kinda in the same boat. You have ways just think outside the box a little and what do you really want to get rid of. Or just add more power.

in all honesty as much as i can without giving up the use of the bed/losing my heat lol. as for rolling weight my custom driveshaft i think may be going for a dss cf or aluminum since its a good 10lbs over stock, my eagle alloys 15x10s will be sold for a full set of bogart d10s 15x10s front and rear. as for hood i will be going with a glasstek 4" cowl, as for the lift(torsion) theres no way to cut weight other than losing the 100lbs by going to the coil conversion. but reguardless of weight loss its definitley getting more power im just trying to get the most out of this as i can lol. im stupidly close to setting the goal i had set for the truck on the "cam only" setup id like to hit it before i throw the new heads on

Ditch the rear bumper and get a urethane roll pan?

Lighter seats would help a lot. Remove the speakers, radio, air bags, lighter steering wheel, smaller side mirrors
