Anyone know how to find out which trucks these bars came on? When I look at car-part.com they just list whether the truck was a 1500 or 2500, nothing more than that, and there are no codes on the listings.
No, But all the 2WD Extended cab 1500's That I have all have the YT bars in them.

I don't have any access to the 2500 torsion bar Reg cab trucks.

Ok. I called the junk yard today and the guy said I could walk around the lot and check their trucks out. They have about 10 of them listed. Might do that at lunch time tomorrow. Maybe I'll get lucky and the glove boxes will be intact so I can check out the RPO codes...

Well I tried pulling a leaf tonight, no bueno. Truck feels REALLY unstable at speed and the front end feels even softer now than before. Gonna put it back and keep on the search for stronger t-bars.

Do you guys think the gk bars would be too stiff? I have found a lot of threads with people using them to lift their trucks but none with them in a lowered truck. Ride quality reviews are all over the map too, some day it rides like a tank and some say they really like the firmer ride. Any thoughts?

You're going to be running them de-cranked (less pre-load), which usually means softer ride. Might just work out for you.

Too bad, I have 2 sets of the YT bars.... Shipping would probably be expensive though...

I saw an 01-02 2500HD single cab long bed 6.0 in a parking lot yesterday but the tags were gone. If there is another way to ID them let me know. When I am out and about, I will look out to see what came on other trucks.

I ended up going back to the yard and getting a set of the GK bars. Experimented with some different keys and found that the stock Ford F150 keys, indexed up one position, put my ride height where I want to be. I tried the stock 1500 keys indexed up and couldn't get enough preload. The stock 2500 keys had enough preload that I couldn't get them set, and I also tried a set of 2500 lowering keys that I got in but the preload was too much and set the front end 4" higher than I wanted. The bars feel great in the truck (I think the YT bars may not have been enough), now I just need to get some decent shocks on it. Thanks for the help everyone.
