Any experience with these? Seems to do about what a true trac does, except it can still deliver torque to the ground when one wheel is lifted. An adjustable torque bias is cool, too...

Looks to be sound engineering... And probably a very quality piece. I'd be willing to try one. My tru-trac is pretty tough but sometimes it is a little unpredictable.

I'd heard of these, but it's too late as I've got a Truetrac on standby.
Ben, care to explain the "little unpredictable" part?

Need more on the unpredictable, they are very simple and direct, can't see how it would do anything other than turn both tires when in the throttle.

Too bad they don't make a Wavetrac for the 10 bolt. There's lots of talk on them over on Tech.

My TruTrac has acted up a few times. Most when doing a burnout from a standstill. It will violently transfer the power back and forth between the rear tires.

Sent them an email asking about a 10 bolt app, fingers crossed. The tire in the air, no power thing is what I HATE about the eaton and trutrac.

Hey, here is my response from an email to them

Hi Peter,

Thank you for your interest in Wavetrac.
While we do not currently offer a diff to fit the 10 bolt, it is being considered for production.
If there was enough interest in the market for it, development would start sooner... for now, it is on the "to do list."
If you think there is enough interest within your owners group, perhaps a project can be started via one of our main dealers, Unitrax Drivetrain in Anaheim, CA. There would need to be a good number of people willing to order them to get something started... likely 30-50 of the same type.
Unitrax have organized these types of things for us in the past, and are currently doing so on another new application for us.
Devin King at Unitrax : tel 714-630-4327

Regards,
Dana

My Eaton will still get both tires to turn with one in the air, just have to be very easy on the throttle. Just got thru ripping my air dam off after goin tru the field and tried to cross a ditch, lost the air dam and only had 3 tires on the ground.

I put a TrueTrac in my Samurai in the front axle, kinda interested in how its gonna work. supposedly you can use your brakes to deliver a 'load' to the spinning tire and get the diff to send power to the other tire?
