Default Vibration and weird noise in driveline- Help

Truck is in sig- it just started making a high pitched metal on metal/ squeaking noise yesterday . Sounds like coming from rear off truck for sure. Get more rapid and louder with acceleration - but then dues off after you get up to cruising speed. It's gotten louder since yesterday . Got under truck couldn't find anything loose or malfunctioning. Any help is greatly appreciated

Sounds like possibly a ujoint. If you can pull the rear shaft down and feel the ujoints I would do that. Should have no play and should move freely. Brakes are also possible.

Thanks guys, I found out it was my parking brake dragging that was making the noise. I put new spicer joints In not too long ago. Still gave the vibration though. It honestly feels like its coming from the torque Converter???

Is that something you can feel while it's in neutral, or do you have to be going down the road in order to feel it?

I would be curious to know what you pinion angles are knowing that it has a 7" lift installed. Could it be that you have a severe angle in the u-joints?

I took my parking brake shoes off yesterday. Got rid of one noise but the other high pitched squealing noise, Is still there. It's definatly in my driveline , and not in my wheels, it increases with the spinning of my driveshaft. The pinion angle is a Lil more than stock but not much, due to the type of blocks I used. The vibration/hesitation happens from takeoff and when cruising from 40-55 mph. Like clock work

If you're curious about it being the converter you can unbolt it from the motor, slide it back into the transmission pump and then fire up the motor. If the symptom is gone then it's probably the converter.

But, if it's the converter it would do it in neutral as well as driving down the road.

How long has it had the lift kit?

What was the most recent work done aside from the brake issue?

It's had the new lift about a year and a half , I had one on it before , but not as tall. This is the first vibration issue I've had. It's got a trailblazer converter in it as well. It only does it under load. It really feels/sounds like its coming from my rear carrier, as it gets more frequent with the driveline spinning, and not the rear wheels . It's got a G80 in it from an 07- classic. It's prolly got 50k on it

To make it a Lil clearer, it's like a bump- bump- bump in the driveline from takeoff, and between 40-55 mph constantly . My torque converter has been flashing 200-300 Rpms since I put it in , right around 50-55 mph, never has an issue with it though, I figured it was tuning. I pull my 5x8 trailer all the Time with my bike that weighs about 1000 lbs, no issue either until recently.

I think I would revisit the pinion angle and check the u-joints very thoroughly. Then, pick the wheels off the ground and let them rotate at idle. Crawl around and look for the source of the noise.

You might even remove the rear axle cover and visually inspect it for and damaged components.
