what would be involved with mating a corvette t56 to our truck rear ends...

keep in mind that the corvette has a rear mounted tranny

and how in the world do they do the shift linkage on it???

 

It would a mess of a conversion. You would have to change everything from the flywheel to the tires! I don't think that this is a good idea.

 

i kinda thought that but COULD you bolt the tranny to the truck rear axle or would you have to swap in a vette rear axle

it was just an idea cause someone said something about a semi load of new z06s at a local hotel parked and could see the underside they were so clean and i got to thinking about how someof us want better handling/weight distribution and i thought that was the reason for the rear mounted tranny on the vettes

 

Buy a z06 and put your truck on it!
