Question vette servo

i see a lot of you guy have a vette servo what does it do. is it hard to install do you need a shift kit to back with up. would it viod my warrenty

it firms up your 1-2 shifts. its easy to install and it dosent mess up your warranty. no shift kit needed

where do i buy this at. will i burn rubber in 2nd gear

I bought mine off of Oregon Performance Transmission, they have an ebay store. With just a servo, you won't chirp the tires going into 2nd....it will firm up the shift, but not that much, lol.

I had a servo bought and installed back before i got the tune and it helped me shift higher where i regularly shifted at 5400 i shifted at 56000 or 5700 i dont know but in my case it brough my time down from a 16.5 to a 15.9 that was really wierd the only thing i had was an intake and cutout that was weird

yeah i bought mine from oregon performance as well shipped to me for like 134 i think. great customer service and fast shipping. its one of the best bang for your buck mods you can do besides the laughin gas, hehe

I have a vette servo in the 700r4 that I have in my Firebird. Holy crap is that a kick in the pants from 1-2. It barks the tires rolling at 20 from 1-2, but I also have a fully built tranny.

if you install it your self watch out how you do it... if you don't put it in the right way it look like this
