Default vaccum mod

i have a vaccum modulator on my 4l60e tranny and i was wondering how do i take it off?

Why would you want to take it off?? if you are concerned about the turbo/boost hurting it, call FLT, they have a bypass valve for you... they told me that if I ever went f/i, I'd have to add it too...

i know i have one on their but ever since i got it at about 15hg vaccum i get rpm surge and im getting a flt level 5 asap. so i want that thing off for now n e one know how???

I don't think you can just remove it w/o reinstalling the electric pressure solenoid that was originally on it...I may be mistaken though...

You will also have to plug the hole where the pass through connector is.

Sounds to me like a vacuum leak. Check your hoses again and make sure that it didn't melt against your driver's side exhaust or something. Also make sure that the ball part of the check valve is pointed straight up.
